Board and Train is available in Chattanooga, TN. In order to apply for our Board and Train program, your dog must first go through a Behavioral Assessment.
I typically work with dogs who have behavioral issues, and therefore do not offer board and train for obedience training or "boot camp."
I specialize in handling shy, fearful, and aggressive dogs. All breeds and temperament types are accepted. Your dog will be staying inside my house, so this is totally unlike boarding in a kennel. Personal care and attention will be given to your dog on a daily basis during their stay with us.
Our property is located in Red Bank, on a 1/3 acre lot. The backyard is fully-fenced with a six-foot stockade fence. Your dog will be given at least 4 potty breaks per day, and plenty of outdoor playtime for enrichment (in addition to their training time). Dogs who are a flight risk will be supervised and/or kept on a long line for playtime and training. Your dog's safety is our first priority.
Our training program will help build your dog's confidence while they learn new skills and become more emotionally balanced. The focus in training is always trust, emotional safety, and engagement. At the end of our program, you will receive a training diary in which I have kept track of our progress with daily written entries, combined with videos of our training sessions. You will also receive a detailed training plan with customized videos for you to reference as you continue the training at home.
This program also includes 6 months of email support to ensure success for you and your dog!
